IN MEMORY OF MAXIM MYASNYKOV
On August 18, the Zmiiv community accompanied its Defender, Maxim Myasnikov, to his final earthly journey.
On this day, relatives, friends, neighbors, acquaintances, representatives of local authorities, and everyone who came to share the family's pain and pay their last respects to the soldier who gave his life for Ukraine bowed their heads in grief.
Maxim Myasnikov was born on February 1, 1979 in Lysychansk. After graduating from a local school, he began his career as a welder.
In 2014, Maksym moved to the Zmiivska community, settled in the village of Gusyna Polyana. Here he found his home and his love. In 2017, he got married. Together with his wife Nadia, they raised two children.
On December 6, 2024, Maksym joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. And since February 2025, contact with him has been lost.
All this time, his family lived in hope. They waited for news, believing that he would return.
But the worst was confirmed...
Private Myasnikov Maksym, a reconnaissance-grenade launcher of the 9th Special Purpose Reconnaissance Group of the 4th Special Purpose Company of the 1st Special Purpose Detachment, died on February 20, 2025, while performing a combat mission to protect the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine, deterring the armed aggression of the Russian Federation.
The life of our countryman was cut short near the settlement of Yantarne, Pokrovsky District, Donetsk Region.
He was 46 years old.
We bow our heads to the courage of the Defender.
We thank Maxim for the highest price he paid for the freedom of Ukraine. For standing up for it. For giving us the opportunity to live, work, raise children, and welcome a new day.
We remember the price at which our freedom is fought.
Eternal honor to the Hero.
Eternal memory to Maxim Myasnikov.
