SYSTEMATIC WORK ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF VETERAN POLICY CONTINUES

Zmiiv City Mayor Pavlo Golodnikov held another meeting with war veterans and representatives of the community's volunteer movement. Such meetings are part of the systematic work aimed at forming and implementing veterans' policy in the community, supporting the Defenders of Ukraine and their families.

During the dialogue, the participants discussed current issues of veteran policy, as well as preserving the memory of fallen Heroes. In particular, the topic was the further improvement of the Alleys of Memory, which are installed in all starosta districts of the community. The participants expressed their proposals for developing unified approaches to their improvement.

Special attention was paid to the initiative to create a Place of Hope in honor of military personnel from the Zmiiv community who are in captivity or missing. The concept and possible options for its implementation are currently being developed.

"I am grateful to veterans and volunteers for the open and constructive dialogue. It is extremely important for us that decisions concerning veterans, families of the Defenders, and commemoration of our Heroes be made jointly. Only in partnership can an effective veteran policy be created that will meet the real needs of people," said Pavlo Golodnikov.
